Our Design Process
In-home, Showroom or Virtual Visit
During your appointment with our expert window treatment specialist, you will have their undivided attention. This can take place in your home or in our showroom. We will review the vast assortment of treatment options available today and help you narrow down those that meet your style, needs and budget. Our designer will focus on identifying the key products that will meet your needs for light control, privacy, thermal insulation, child safety and much more. We will generally focus on the functional needs first, adding in soft treatments such as drapery, valances, cushions and accessories to suit your décor and lifestyle.
Presentation of Selections and Pricing
Once the desired types of window treatments are established, we will bring together the best choices from our wide range of suppliers to present the best offerings for your home. Based on your preferences, we will choose blinds and shades from Hunter Douglas, Shade-O-Matic, Maxxmar, Sun Glow, Altex or other key suppliers. Our soft treatments will be based on fabrics and styles you’ve selected during the consultation. Our quote will be clear, concise, and competitive. It will also include everything from professional measuring to installation and setup of motorized products as well as linking to simple or complex home automation systems.
Final Selections, Ordering and Installation
Once you’ve reviewed our quotation, you will have ample opportunity to fine tune, add or remove items to meet your needs and move to the ordering phase. We will take care of everything from there. We will ask for a deposit to process the order (which can be paid with a credit card in person or by phone), then we will make arrangements for our professional installer to take accurate measurements and place the orders. Once the products are all shipped, our installer will book an appointment for complete installation and orientation. Our installers will answer any questions, show you the functions of your new shades and insure everything is completed to your satisfaction. Finally, if there is anything not satisfactory, we will take care of it in a timely manner, no questions asked.
