Vertical blinds have wide (usually 3 ½”) vanes hanging vertically from a traversing track that houses the mechanical hanging clips. The tracks can have simple wand controls or more elaborate cord drives to open & close the blind for clear access to the window. The vanes can be turned to any angle from fully closed to fully opened using a chain drive. These blinds come in a wide assortment of fabric & vinyl collections & can be easily customized in width & length to suit your window. The track can be hidden with a decorative valance if desired. Vertical blinds are one of the most economical and popular window coverings available and  can be coordinated with almost any other  window treatments.

Vertical Sheer Blinds

Vertical Sheers combine the versatility of vertical blinds with the elegance of a sheer fabric curtain. The sheer fabric is fitted around the vertical vanes & attached using snaps or Velcro with a sewn pocket.  These offer the traditional  elegance of sheer drapery with the functionality, light control and privacy features of vertical blinds. They are offered under various brand names depending on the supplier.

Slider Panels

Slider panels are a variation of the vertical blind. Larger panels of fabric are hung from a sliding track that can be opened or closed using a wand control. They offer a unique look that is well suited to large expansive windows and doors. Be sure to consider the location and size of the panel  stack when the panels are in the open position. They can stack off the window when space is available, or otherwise will stack in front of the window.
