Roman Shades are made from a variety of materials including fabrics, natural woods and sun screens. The classic Roman Shade includes horizontal ribs at multiple intervals down the length of the fabric giving the blind a unique rolled look as it is raised. They are raised and lowered using a standard cord pull, optional chain or motorized control. When the shade is raised, it gathers from the rail at the bottom of the fabric up to the top rail in controlled pleats.
